Honda S2000

The S2000 (aka S2K), my personal favorite car to race in under 400hp type races. This front engine rear wheel drive 2 seat roadster was launched in 1999 to mark the 50th anniversary of the Honda Motor Company. With great weight distribution and 230-250 hp stock the S2000 has received much acclaim as one of the best affordable sports cars ever. The tune below like most of the setups on this page was not created by me but is used quite often.

Lamborghini Gallardo

Much like the Ferrari mentioned earlier, this 5th release of Gran Turismo marks the entrance of the famous raging bull of Lamborghini. Wow what a car, styling that looks modern with a tip of the hat to the Lambo posters plastered on you wall as a kid. Mid engine, with AWD, creates a beast of a vehicle. No wonder the car is named after a famous fighting bull; the Spanish word gallardo translates into "gallant". After you have acquired this most famous of super cars you will want to purchase the tires, weight reduction, suspension and trans from the tuning shop. With thes parts you will find the setting below to be a great place to begin your tunning of the Gallardo.

Mazda RX-7

The Mazda RX-7, the champion of rotary engine sports cars. This front engine, rear wheel drive rotary  powered rocket was produced from 1978 to 2002. The "mid front" engine layout and light weight of the Wankel rotary engine came together to put the RX-7 on the Car and Driver magazine's Ten Best list five times throughout its 3 brilliant generations.  If you have purchased the needed tires and tuning parts, the following is a great starting point for setting up your RX-7 up for Gran Turismo 5 racing.

Ferrari 458 Italia

Finally after 5 generations we get to drive the famous prancing horse of Ferrari in Gran Turismo 5.The Ferrari 458 Italia is the companies successor to the famed F430, however the platform has been entirely redesigned based on Ferrari's extensive Formula 1 racing knowledge base.

This V8 powered monster puts down 560 hp@ 9,000 rpm, and 400 lb·ft at 6,000 rpm (in factory trim) thru a 7 speed dual clutch trans. 0-60 times in the  3.4second range with a top speed reaching 202mph, and an Pininfarina designed body make this arguably on of the brands best stallions...Once you have obtained this car you will want to take the time and max out the tuning upgrades for the 458. Make sure you have the proper tires, trans. suspension and power adders, along any desired aero enhancements. With that taken care of a good general tuning starting point would be as follows.

Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution

The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, aka the  Evo, is a highperformance AWD sedan by Mitsubishi . There have been ten official versions to date, and the designation of each model is most commonly a roman numeral. All use two litre, turbocharged engines and all wheel drive (AWD) systems.
The Evolution was originally intended only for Japanese markets, but demand  led the Evolution series to be offered through Ralliart dealer networks in the UK and  various Euro markets from around '98. Mitsubishi decided to export the eighth generation Evo to the US in '03 after the success of the  Subaru  WRX, another AWD turbocharged sedan.
